Alliance Pharma is a part of Bioscience Group of companies set up in the year 1996
Bioscience tied up with one of the leading Indian manufacturers to market and sell on an exclusive basis, their oncology products in Thailand. In a period of 4 years, Bioscience successfully positioned this company as market leader of the generic oncology products. This milestone was achieved in the difficult times when there was huge reluctance on the part of Thai doctors to accept Indian manufacturers products for the fear of inferior quality and Bioscience team was able to break the mental block and resistance in convincing the market on Indian products which rather paved the way for other Indian suppliers to enter Thai market.
Bioscience held the following portfolio of onco products
In the year 2006, the Indian manufacturerdecided to take over onco business operation from Biosicnece with an agreed embargo of 5 years on Bioscience not to market similar onco products.
As a result, Alliance Pharma Co. Ltd. was floated to market other pharma products in Thailand with a primary focus on Oncology and Nephrology segments while Bioscience role is restricted to the Govt. project business.
